The service and food were amazing, very attentive staff and the T bone steak cooked to perfection and very tasty. The desert was large enough to share after such a good main course. German Pils beer was a very nice. It’s so hard to find a good steak restaurant and this one is at the top of our list for a future visit.
I honestly don’t understand the reasoning behind the pricing — nothing about the food or service stood out as special. On our second visit, the meat we ordered was undercooked, which was disappointing. To make things worse, the open layout of the place attracted a lot of flies, making the dining experience quite unpleasant
Perfect lunch menu! We went for lunch and were greatly surprised by their lunch menu. Quantity and quality was excellent! The place is very nice and has a beautiful outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and helped with some translations. Would definitely go back for lunch!
High quality fine dining. Service is amazing with friendly and warm stuff that is both quick and discrete. The quantity is worth mentioning as for the price you pay you sure will leave full and satisfied. It is worth visiting as it stands at this edge of the town as an equal competitor of the other fine dining restaurants at the center.
In a word, perfect. The tast of the food was exquisite. Having a vast vocabulary in my culinary journey (see my profile) the food in Σκατζό-heros was exactly that. The beef fillet was tender, tasty, well prepared, as I asked medium well with not even a hint of blood. The seasoning, the texture and the sauce accompanying the steak were a delight. I didn't care about the side cream cheese, as I found it bland, but the steak was the star of the show. The risotto was above and beyond other creations in Michelin starred restaurants. It was cooked to perfection and balanced with the rest of the ingredients. The salmon steak was crunchy, tasty and had no hints of any fishiness. The salmon burger was amazing in taste and texture, and was cooked exactly right. It had no side dishes or garniture which was a tad odd, but it needed none, so it was properly presented. The attention of the waiting staff was immaculate and we felt very relaxed as they were as formal as required but casual to the point of being friendly which made it special. The Chef attended our table and asked for the quality of the food and I was very happy to inform everything was perfect, and he let me know that he personally attended my order to perfection. The Chef also made a local delicacy in the form of Galaktompoureko, and due to a special circumstance for my table he offered an Ekmek with a nice candle on top. The Galaktompoureko was great but the Ekmek stole the dessert show, as it was not based on kataifi, but on Tsoureki bread, in caramelized syrup, and the custard alongside the cream were divine. It was my first time in this restaurant and I can only say I should have visited earlier, I left with an amazing taste. The prices were a bit steep but totally justified for the quality of food, service and presentation. Right across the restaurant there is a parking spot, as well as a second one at 30-35m away, with road parking available. We had a child with and there were no complications whatsoever, the team was very attentive. There's free wifi and the restaurant is situated in ground level so there are no steps to climb for mobility challenged people.
