Starting with the service. Alex and, unfortunately, I didn’t catch the name of the second waiter both were incredibly kind, friendly, helpful, and truly professional. The food was prepared very quickly and it was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend this place. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering it’s located in a very touristy part of the city. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

I had a wonderful experience at this Greek restaurant! The meal started with freshly baked pita bread and a rich, refreshing tzatziki sauce — a perfect way to begin. For the main course, I ordered the grilled salmon and octopus, and both were absolutely delicious. The salmon was tender and full of flavor, while the octopus was perfectly cooked — soft, smoky, and beautifully seasoned. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, just like in Greece. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. A truly delightful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves Greek cuisine!

We visited Taverna Dafni, a very welcoming place — a truly authentic Greek taverna located in the village of Stegna, Rhodes. The food was absolutely impressive! We ordered seafood, gyros, and a Greek salad. The fries were fresh, not the frozen kind, which was a nice surprise. Everything was outstanding. The staff were very friendly — young, kind, and welcoming. I highly recommend this authentic Greek taverna right by the sea!

We had such a lovely dinner at Dafni! The atmosphere is beautiful, especially the outdoor seating with the flowers and lights – it feels so relaxing and inviting. The seafood pasta was absolutely delicious, full of fresh flavours and perfectly cooked. 🍝🦐 The staff really made the experience special – the waitresses were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. Great food, great service, and a perfect spot to enjoy a summer evening. Highly recommend! 🌸✨

Superb flavours we tasted in Dafni couple of days back, made us come back. This is from now on our de facto go to place in New Town for sure. The food is super tasty, the atmosphere is welcoming and airy, and the personnel are friendly. Oh and the pay cheque will not break the bank. The manager Alex and the head waiter Pandelis were excellent hosts. They read our minds and made good recommendations about what to eat and how much to eat. But the real star of the show was Eleni who we learned was the master chef behind those delicious flavours. We happened to meet her and had the chance to express our gratitude. I especially recommend grilled octopus with a delicate fava on the side, calamari, cheese balls, meatballs, dolmades, fried cheese with sesame seeds and honey, and moussaka. Salads are fresh, crispy and tasty too. In other Rhodes restaurants we felt that the food was little bit on the salty side. But Eleni is a true master of divine taste and knows how not to kill taste with salt. My only regret is during our short stay I couldn’t taste all of the food presented on the menu as I am sure they all would have performed above the bar.
