The food was delicious and the service was excellent. When the waiter heard that I was Turkish, he treated me with such kindness and friendly conversation. It made the whole experience even better. A restaurant I’d definitely love to visit again and highly recommended! Μπράβο παιδιά! :)

We stayed in Thessaloniki for several days and by coincidence, our accommodation was very close to this restaurant. The food was excellent — delicious, fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. We’ll definitely come back on future visits!

My first Greek experience was pretty amazing! I was sightseeing in the beautiful port city, Thessaloniki! It was wonderful to dine at this popular establishment! Absolutely worth it — authentic Greek food and great atmosphere in Thessaloniki’s vibrant east Elliniko is a fantastic restaurant located in the lively eastern part of Thessaloniki, in a neighborhood full of cafes and eateries. Despite the large number of restaurants nearby, Elliniko was completely packed — a clear sign of its popularity — while most places around it were half empty. That alone says a lot. We were recommended this spot by friends who live in Thessaloniki, and it turned out to be an excellent tip. Although there’s often a queue to get in, we were lucky enough to be seated right away. The food was truly memorable. We started with octopus, tzatziki, and stuffed vine leaves, all of which were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. For mains, we had Greek pasta with seafood and traditional souvlaki, both perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was fast and very friendly. Our waiter even stopped by for a short, friendly chat, which added a warm touch to the whole experience. We had a bottle of Agiorgitiko wine to go with the meal, which was a perfect match, and to top it all off, we were offered a complimentary glass of masticha as a digestif. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic, well-prepared Greek food in a buzzing local setting. Will definitely come back!
