Basket of bread with butter: butter was good but bread was cold!! Why ..?? Entrees: Mussel salad - vegie was amazingly/suprosingly fresh and the vinegret a good match. Mussel not bad with nice spicy, peppery fresh mouth watering over layer. Smoked lamb tartar is a must try with a really smoky but also sauer background while the onion gave it spiciness. Mains: Cod with sauerkraut..excellent!! The deep fried onions were not good. Arctic char with skin on a sauce that i liked. Cauliflower on side and under the Char a good choice. Not sure if they were pickled or fresh n baked. Lamb was tender, tasted well though a bit salty. I did not like the tomato/ketchup sauce. Wine card is adequate and matches greatly to the menu. I missed an alcohol free wine though. Glasses were not in good condition. Staff was stressed and a third waiter would make everything better for everyone.

We stopped by this restaurant right after visiting the Blue Lagoon, and it was such a wonderful experience. We ordered the filled cod, lamb ribeye, and wild mushroom soup, along with some beers. Everything was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The staff were not only attentive but also genuinely friendly and cheerful, which made our lunch even more enjoyable. It was a perfect way to start our time in Reykjavik, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city!

All dishes were absolutely delicious, and our waiter Mateusz was very professional and polite and helpful. Our order: • Creamy shellfish soup (3.390 kr): dices of fish, mussels, shrimps, pickled fennel and dill oil; the soup is just amazing! • Lamb ribeye  (7.090 kr): fried baby potatoes, beetroot puree, rutabaga, carrots, slow cooked shoulder of lamb and demi-glace: delicious! • Cod cheeks  (3.590 kr): langoustine mayo infused with saffron, dried spice bread, fennel and champagne sauce: perfectly made. • Brownie (3.190 kr): skyr carmel, skyr mousse, Icelandic moss - white chocolate crumble, blueberry glace and strawberries: wow! You have to order!

Favoriets: Mushroom soup, basket of bread & Lamb Ribeye Everything over there was absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and nice. He had great suggestions for dishes that we loved. Reservation is recommended for dinner. Try their Icelandic dishes. It is almost a fine dinning experience.

We had a great meal here, a party of 4. We chose set menu 1 and menu 2 to sample the most this place had to offer, and they delivered. It's a celebration of the best of Iceland; the flavors were fantastic and well balanced. The place only seats a few people, so booking online is essential. If you are visiting Iceland, this place is a must.
