Mama Reykjavik

Love the Staff! Genuine! Love the food! Full of flavor! Chili Sin Carne 10/10 - (spice level 7/10) Dhal a la Mama, not my favorite, a bit sweet for me, does have a flavor. I won’t rate, as i have my biased against sweeter hot meals. Drink Kambucha was okay, i am not a drink expert. I will be trying other dishes and drinks and update my review. I am here 3rd day in a row 🙂 Atmosphere is amazing, glass roof windows make it a unique experience!

The vegan food was amazingly tasty! The homemade juice was delicious, and the cacao drink SO yummy! The upstairs restaurant is very cozy, great vibe, healthy options that taste great and the wait staff are very kind and you know each dish is ordered with wellness in mind. A home run place to visit and eat, drink and be healthy!

Delicious vegetarian and gluten free fare. I am celiac and having trouble fining safe options in Reykjavík. Then we found Mama Reykjavik and it was awesome. Really good food and while they are not entirely gluten free, they definitely understood and I felt very safe eating there. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for good gluten free options or just delicious food.

Tried Mama Reykjavik on our last day in Iceland and I’m so glad we did! The hummus and pesto sandwich was absolutely delicious – probably one of the best vegan sandwiches I’ve had. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but with the limited vegan options around, it was definitely worth the treat. The atmosphere and decor really stood out, super cozy and creative. Service was quick and friendly too. A lovely spot for plant-based food lovers!

Wow! This place is great. It is upstairs in this beautiful attic space, has amazing chill atmosphere, and the food was great. After a week of "fine dining" in reykjavic the amazing salad and curry we had here was exactly the palate cleanse we needed. Cannot recommend this place strong enough!
