Not to busy today when we visited. Nice cosy atmosphere and appeared very clean and staff courteous and friendly. Nice selection of pastries and nice nibbles. The flat white coffees were piping hot and tasty. The toilets were upstairs and 13 steps to overcome the obstacle. Couldn't find any Disabled toilets so beware if you are a wheelchair operator. Also to gain entry to this cafe there are 2 or 3 steps front or back and you would have to collapse your wheelchair as there are no ramps. This was the reason for only 4 stars rating, but if you can walk in it's well worth it. Outside on the pavement is a glass greenhouse with little tables for inclement weather but not sure regards access to wheelchair based customers.
The cafe is cozy and has many options in its menu. There’s many spots where you can have a seat and enjoy your coffee. Something nice and interesting is that you can find free postcards by the door. And lastly there’s happy hour as well.
Kaffibrennslan has a lovely atmosphere and makes excellent coffee, smooth, rich, and beautifully presented. The carrot cake was delicious and generous in portion. The chocolate croissant, however, was a bit dry, which was a small letdown. Still, it’s a great spot to relax in downtown Reykjavík, with friendly service and a cozy vibe. Would definitely go back for the coffee and cake!
We stop by this little cafe several times during our time there. The swiss mochas are delicious! We did have some breakfast as we got there early and couldn't get in our room yet. Great start to the Vaca.
Great coffee, cozy cafe with ample seating. This little coffee shop has maximised their space they have 2 floors of indoor seating, a little terrace with a glass house (both have seating) and even a couple small tables out front. Came back because the mocha I had was so decadent and divine, but the service here is really quiet slow. Order food and drinks at the counter and take a number wherever you'd like to sit. Bathrooms available on second floor. Side note, there's some pretty cool wall murals and insta selfie spots nearby. Snap some pics while you wait for your order. Cool art inside the coffee house as well.
