Flavorful, authentic, and great value! We visited this restaurant as, after a week of eating Icelandic lamb in Western styles, my parents (originally from China) and I were yearning to try Chinese style Icelandic lamb kebabs with cumin and spice — this place really hit the spot! The skewers were juicy and flavorful. We also ordered Chinese hamburger (rou jia mo), beef noodle soup, and Chinese crepe (jian bing)— these were all delicious and better than many restaurants we’ve had back in the US, especially the crepe which was the perfect balance of eggy, crispy, and flavorful from the sauce. We learned that the owners/staff are from Beijing originally, which is clear from authenticity of the food as well. They were kind and fluent in Mandarin and English (probably more as well). The restaurant itself is very clean and plain. Highly recommend!
We loved the Chinese crepe, lots of flavor! The owners were very friendly, the cost (esp for Iceland) was very good. We would definitely recommend!
Wonderful service, real Chinese food (something I didn’t expect here in Iceland). Good service, I had tried the truck before it was nice but the resturant is even more cozy. It is tiny, it is good, The service was very good and portions was good for 2 to share. It is rare to find this type of resturant here….. They even had chinese chopsticks🥢. This resturant made me really happy, the menu is really thought out and the the lady that was our waiter was wonderful. This resturant is probobly the best kept secret of Reykjavik….
Food truck that has evolved into a restaurant. It is very nice inside (not a typical Chinese fast food restaurant). The host and server were nice. I had the lamb skewers and Chinese burger and it was great.
Very yummy, savory options. We didn't try the dumplings yet but will have to come back. The crepe is a great handheld lunch with a little crunch. I had it with meat, it's probably just as good without since there's a fried egg as well. The salty hosin and fresh lettuce complement the egg very well.
