KRÖST

Delicious! We are a family of four with two teens. Ordered two appetizers and four entrees. Not cheap but that was expected. But scrumptious they all were! The service was swift. The place was crowded but we were able to find an empty table quickly. One of the best restaurants we experienced in Iceland!

We wanted to try Icelandic lamb, so we came to Krost for their lamb chops. The taste was good, but the price didn’t quite match the quality. The staff were courteous and helpful. Food arrived fast.

Conveniently located within a food hall. kröst is casual but yet provides quality fine dining level food. I had one of my best cod dishes at Kröst out of my Iceland trip. Fish is meaty and perfectly cooked. We ordered the summer meals which also come with a pairing of a glass of sparkling rose, which worked beautifully with the cod. The other dish we had was a burger, which was satisfying. It came with fries that are crispy and served with a spiced ketchup that's part Asian (5-spice) and part icelandic (licorice). Lastly, we also had an order of arancini made with mushroom risotto? It was fried nicely on the outside, and the whole thing was nicely seasoned. When in Reykjavik, don't sleep on this spot.

Located in a casual, lively food court. Staff was nice, I ordered Krost beer.. that was good. And my gosh..their lamb chop was the best lamb chop I've ever had!!

Came here for happy hour, stayed a bit for the delicious dishes and good time. My son had one of the best burgers of his life here. Wanted to return, but ran out of time during my trip. Ranks high on a place I would like to return to.
