Souroturi - Greek Local Restaurant

Fantastic food, large portion for my American appetite 🤣. Very friendly and welcoming staff. They offered up free a free stuffed tomato, then free raki and a dessert platter after our meal. Greek hospitality!

Absolutely incredible food, last minute find and was blown away. Much bigger portions than expected but everything was perfect. No notes. Packed with flavor. The pork casserole and dolma were the favorites. Fava beans with caramelized onions were also divine.

Tired and hungry from our first surf lesson, we arrived in this location and ordered different food on the waiter recommendation, not knowing what to expect.... First we got an additional starter for free. Then the food was simply amazing so we ate more than we could... But then we got some free dessert that we could not refuse, "it's how we do in Kreta". And we enjoyed the delicious desert in our already full stomach. Now we are happily rolling on the floor with all this amazing food in our bellys. We totally recommend this place.

Amazing food. It was the first restaurant we've found when we arrived to Crete and it was a gem indeed. Great atmosphere, very kind, hospitable and funny owner who joined our table to chat a little bit. Feta with honey was absolutely gorgeous 🤩 salads were so fresh and juicy. After the meal we received free dessert with chocolate cake and one of a kind ice cream. We'll definitely come back.

First of all, this restaurant was incredible! We were looking for an authentic greece restaurant outside of the tourist area and found this one in google maps. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh and made to perfection. We ate one of the best salads I have ever had and multiple greek delececies such as stuffed vegetables, grape leaves and saganaki. All of which were absolutely incredible. Also, I had a very delicious steak. We also got a free dessert and bread with olives as an appetizer. The service was incredible. The guy serving our food was extremely friendly and not pushy at all. The price was very low for the amount of food we had and the quality of it. I recxommend everybody checking this place out! It is incredible!
