We loved eating at Soba for the second time, it’s a great place. The food is really tasty, but the service is the best! The waitress was very kind and careful. We are very happy to have this place close to home. Thank you!
10/10 again. In cork for a week and I’ve eaten here for the third time. It has NOT disappointed. My son had a spice bag restaurant style and I had Sweet and Sour Chicken with rice. The portions are big and I could not finish the full portion on each occasion. The place is spotless and the staff are great. And plenty of FREE parking outside and all around
Terrible experience. This was my fourth visit to the place and I have to say today was the last one.We went for lunch today and we found the entire staff sitting and eating. The man who took our order was constantly getting up to bring drinks and food and then sitting down to eat again. While he was takin our order he was very impatient. This is very unprofessional. We got the wrong drinks order. Looking at him eating we didn't even bother complaining. I work in the restaurant for more than 20 years and I really understand the restaurant dynamic and that the staff needs to eat but paying customer shouldn't be involved in the process.
Got some food to eat in the car while my wife and daughter went shopping. Plenty of food and tasted quite nice at a very reasonable price. Went for special on board outside restaurant at €8.99 I think. I enjoyed it, no complaints.
Stopped here for dinner on our Cork trip looking for an authentic Asian experience. It was extremely underwhelming. The pineapples in the sweet and sour chicken were completely raw, the chicken in all dishes was chewy, and the gyozo/spring rolls were not crispy. The Pad Thai lacked flavor. The prices were €13.9 per main for eat-in and 12.9 for takeaway. We ate-in expecting a nice dining experience, but the plastic cutlery of green forks and black knives was the last nail in the coffin. The only positive was the staff. They were nice and friendly.
