The Shack Restaurant

We had a wonderful time, enhanced by a high-quality meal. While there was certainly a wait, the attention paid to our comfort—by offering us a reservation to guarantee our place—showed genuine service. As for the food, I can't recommend the must-try Fish & Chips highly enough; it's absolutely delicious and a real favorite! The staff, with their exceptional kindness and exemplary professionalism, made the experience all the more enjoyable. A place we will treasure... and warmly recommend. We will definitely return.

Authentic Irish. Great service. Quiet restaurant with no live music (I was with my grandparents, so this was perfect). Food was cooked well. High quality. Great flavour. I loved the homemade bread - a highlight of the dinner !!!

Went here for the first meal in Dublin and Ireland as we wanted to have something more local and traditional. We did have to wait a bit as we were a group of 5 people. But that's a good sign in my mind. Service was quite fast and pleasant. A lot of options to choose from. The food was good. As a starter I had the soup of the day - which was mushroom cream soup and was good. As a main I had Beef Ireland which is a stew of vegetables and beef. Tasty. Needed a spoon to finish the dish. Both foods as an addition had a really really good seed bread with butter - this was absolutely amazing. Ate 4 slices 😂🙈 As a dessert got the apple pie. Generic, but good, nothing particularly special. Good that it wasnt too sweet. Other party members were satisfied.withthe food as well, but mentioned that it wasn't nothing groundbreaking. We come from a country where we have similar dishes and that could be the reason. I think this place is worth visiting for a nice meal.

We had one of our best meals in the Shack Restaurant. The staff were so nice and friendly. The atmosphere was not as busy and crowded as other restaurants in Temple bar. We ordered Beef Ireland and Irish Stew as well as hot apple pie for dessert. Both meals were so delicious and it was more than enough for one person. I had Irish Stew in other restaurants in Ireland and this one was the best by far. The hot apple pie was also so delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant during your visit in Ireland.
