A memorable dining experience at Pichet! The food itself was impressive. Beautifully plated, packed with flavour. Each course was a delight, and it’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The fries/ chips was amazing and one of the best fries I ever had in my life!!! Reservations are highly recommended as it was full house on the day we went. Pichet strikes the perfect balance between casual comfort and fine dining polish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special evening out in Dublin. Will definitely be back!

My fiancée and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. It was a very nice place and the staff were very pleasant. I got flowers before I came and sat down, and one of the waiters asked me if I wanted some water and he gave me a jug of water for them, which was nice, a small gesture but appreciated. We got the Tomahawk Rib eye for 2. It was nice but it wasn't outstanding... I thought it was a bit too salty. The only complaint from my fiancée was that it didn't come with rice 😆 We both had the Gambas for starters...it was a little bit too salty but not too salty that you can't eat and finish it. It was flavourful, I have to say! Overall, it was expensive - €204 for 2 people (we had 2 Gambas, the Rib eye for 2, 1 cocktail, 1 glass of wine, 1 chocolate mousse & 1 tea). The restaurant got quite loud when it got quite busy and people starting talking. Restaurants can fix this issue easily by installing curtains, I don't know more restaurants don't do this.... Especially to cater for more neurodiverse audience. TL;DR Nice food but the Gambas & the Tomahawk Rib eye were a bit too salty; nice staff; expensive & quite loud

We were served by Niccolo (unsure of spelling), it was amazing. The food and service were flawless. I had made the mistake of ordering a dish with pork (which I can not eat) and they offered to remake it without a problem. Really worth the money as its a wonderful experience:)

Great atmosphere, very relaxed but very professional. Excellent service, Nicolas (Italian server) welcomed us very well and advised us on wines and dishes, we discussed a little about his career and these experiences, which makes the experience even more friendly while remaining very professional. The dishes were excellent, cooking, temperature, presentation and proportions were completely controlled. I asked for a little attention for my partner who was celebrating her birthday that night, they did it with pleasure and without supplements. We enjoyed ourselves from start to finish, and the bottle of wine was perfectly matched to our dishes in addition to being excellent. If we return to Dublin I will go back to Pichet with great pleasure.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while looking for a place to eat without a reservation and were surprised to see it had a Michelin star. We decided to give it a try and asked for a table. At first, we were told—rather arrogantly—that it wasn’t possible. As we were leaving, we were suddenly called back and told we could have a table, but only for an hour. This didn’t appeal to us since it meant rushing through the meal, and when we hesitated, we were told in a dismissive tone that we wouldn’t find anywhere else to eat anyway. Eventually, we agreed, and the “one hour” somehow turned into an hour and twenty minutes. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. The staff treated us as if we didn’t belong there or couldn’t afford to dine there. The atmosphere in the dining room itself was pleasant, but the service was condescending, cold, and far from what you would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. When asked if we wanted wine or water, we politely declined, only to receive another unfriendly remark. It was clear we were not made to feel like valued guests. Because of this treatment, we decided to only order one main course each instead of a full meal. The food itself was fine—the sirloin and tagliatelle were tasty, though overpriced for what was offered. The real issue was the attitude of the staff. To make matters worse, we noticed other guests who arrived after us, also without a reservation, being seated without any issues and treated much more warmly. This only reinforced our feeling that we were not welcome. The only positive note was one waitress (short hair) who was genuinely kind, but unfortunately, she was the exception. Overall, while the food was decent, the dining experience was terrible. The lack of hospitality, arrogance, and dismissive behavior ruined the evening for us. From a Michelin-starred restaurant, we expected much more. We left disappointed and will certainly not eat here again.
