The food itself was very good! Having said that, we expected more from the service. There were relatively low amount of people (3-4 tables) but we’ve waited a long time just to order or get the attention of the staff. It felt like a very laid back place where you come and is expected to spend a very long time in.

Old school classic fish 👌 The locals little secret, my wife (Israeli) took me the first night of our trip, she couldn’t wait to share this place with me. I happily recommend if you want the best fresh fish in Eilat within a relaxed and traditional atmosphere.

Excellent Service just steps from the Eilat promenade. Food was outstanding and hostesses were attentive and helpful. Felt like I was in the restaurants of Israel’s yesteryear, a very good thing 😊. The restaurant is kosher for a year and half which makes it even better!

Don’t let the outside fool you—Rak Dagim is a hidden gem in Eilat! The moment we stepped inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the clean and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even taking the time to show me how to properly eat the fish and avoid the bones—such thoughtful service really stood out. We ordered a fresh salad, grilled aubergine, fish arayas, and a whole fish, paired with a bottle of crisp white wine. Every dish was exceptionally fresh, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. We were so immersed in the food that we completely forgot to take photos! This place is a must-visit for seafood lovers. The quality, service, and experience were all top-notch. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Rak Dagim in Eilat was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we sat down, the hospitality was incredible. We told them right away, “Just bring us something delicious,” and they did exactly that. Without even asking for a menu, they started us off with fresh salad, creamy baba ghanoush, and warm garlic bread that was insanely good. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and the vibe in the restaurant was laid-back but full of good energy. What came next was a surprise multicourse meal that completely exceeded our expectations. The owner, who was kind and welcoming, brought out a huge whole fish cooked with lemon and herbs, served with soft roasted potatoes that soaked up all the flavor. It was clean, rich, and cooked perfectly. We had wine with the meal and just relaxed into it — no rush, just good food and conversation in a place that felt like home. The restaurant itself has a cozy, inviting atmosphere with simple but tasteful design. It’s a Greek-style place, and you can tell they put real heart into what they serve. The whole experience felt authentic and thoughtful — no frills, just excellent food and genuine hospitality. If you’re in Eilat, Rak Dagim is a spot you don’t want to miss.
