Overall, a very mediocre experience. The food was disappointing, especially given the strong reputation of the place—I expected much more. We didn’t even receive a wine menu. The maki sushi was shockingly small, about the size of a coin. It was not allergy friendly. We specifically asked for gluten-free soy sauce, which they didn’t have, and the sushi was then served with teriyaki sauce that contains gluten. When we asked the waiter about it, he claimed the teriyaki sauce was listed on the menu. However, after checking the menu in the photos here, it clearly wasn’t. For the price point, the experience fell far short. The one highlight was the location—it’s a nice setting.
The most delicious sushi and rolls in Haifa 🍣 Philadelphia is just perfect. Besides, they have sooooooo much wine, guys. My favorite is the white wine “Green Life” - sweet and with passion fruit 💚 If you like something else, you can ask the sommelier for advice. How cool is that?! And desserts are just heaven. I highly recommend "Medovik"!
The best sushi place in the city, very elegant, lots of options on menu, the service is excellent and the waiters are doing an amazing job. Thank you for the experience!
Very tasty food but also extremely expensive, eg 2 tiny skewers of meat (four small pieces total) for 60 nis. The place also has a sign Wine &Steak but there were no steaks. We also were never offered the wine menu and there was no wine on the regular alcohol menu, so it’s kind of weird to call your place Wine & Steak if you offer neither. The waiter also said he normally doesn’t work there and was just helping out, so he knew nothing about the menu.
Excellent Thai and Japanese food, the best I’ve found in Israel. ThomYam is better than in in Thailand :) friendly and cozy place, fine choice both for fiends meeting and romance date.
