Hummus Bar

It's absolutely fascinating how insanely delicious the food at this bar! From the hummus to the artificial meat made from 100% plants it is absolutely amazing how great it tastes. The artificial meat tastes like meat. The hummus is top tier quality! Probably one of the best in Israel! Love this place, would comeback, and the service was insanely good! Although we waited for a long time we got compensated greatly for our patience, as they were busy. Great place!

The place is nice and has a lot of potential to be great, but there are some major flaws that I personally can't stand and they can't be neglected especially in these days due to the COVID-19. I will begin with the "Good stuff" first: 1. The place is 100% Vegan. 2. The variety of dishes/meals is pretty good. 3. The food is very tasty , has really nice texture and flavor and it's served very nicely. The "Bad stuff": 1. We've ordered water and we didn't get it, we asked to get it and it was brought to us without the glasses. we asked for glasses and the waitress went away and brought glasses to a table that just came in. (It's not a major turn off, I understand that the waitress has a lot of things to deal with and its acceptable). 2.The forks and knives that we got were dirty. 3. The glasses that we got were beyond dirty they were disgusting. 4. The water can that we got had water with a bad smell of fish.

Great place 100% VEGAN in Haifa, if you are in the area would totally recommend, the prices are good and the food is fine.. the service was super good and the dessert was actually one of the best ones I had! The hummus was really nice and smooth, but I’d prefer if it was served warm.. the beyond burger with cheese was as usual super good and satisfying! The decoration and design of the place is beautiful, between an American dinner and a hummus place.. And in summary would totally recommend, keep up the good food and work Hummus Bar!

After visiting on day one, I got very sick. Gout. Sore joints. Autoimmune headache and collapsing thyroid. On my second visit, I realized they had served me a gluten dish despite all parties being very clear that I get gluten-free bread and a gluten-free dish due to allergies. On the second day when I came back for lunch and realized this... my server laughed. And walked away. It does a little good to be vegan when it's just a buzzword, and empathy is something you lack. Do not eat here. They do not care. And the service did not exist the fort time anyhow. 🙄

I hate to write negative reviews on vegan restaurants, but sometimes there is no choice. I had two very disappointing experiences with food delivered from Hummus Bar. The first one, a few days ago, it was poor packaging combined with poor quality of food. They sent the drinks we ordered inside the same paper bags as the food, which caused the paper bag to get wet. As soon as the delivery person took out the bag, it got torn and the drinks and most of the food fell on the floor. The surviving dish, hummus with vegan kebab, was just not tasty. Today, I decided to give them another chance, which was a mistake. I ordered the beyond burger and Labane. The Labene was tasteless, and the worst thing were the pitas that came with it, which were hard like wood, dry and old. The beyond burger was overcooked and tasted like burnt meat. I hope they will rise to higher standards, but for me it was the last tome to order from this place.
