Onyx haifa

I had to revise my review—my rating drops from 5 to 3. This was our fourth visit to ONYX, and unfortunately, things have changed. While the décor and atmosphere remain as appealing as ever, the quality of the dishes has declined. Regretfully, I can no longer give it the same high marks. My previous review: We had a fantastic and distinctive dining experience at Onyx. The restaurant boasts a well-crafted design, pleasant ambiance, and impeccable service. The chef personally oversees and adds his final touch to every dish, each being truly unique, visually appealing, and delicious. Onyx is definitely a restaurant worth remembering and returning to in the future.

We planned to go for the tasting menu but unfortunately the chef was not available. The restaurant should have let us know but they did not. Its a shame but we decided to stay and eat from the menu. We ordered freely and the price ended up less than the tasting menu so this was a plus. The staff were kind attentive and helped with a birthday surprise dessert. Happy birthday music played and other people in the restaurant joined, it was a good vibe. The food was tasty but a bit underwhelming. It was a nice experience but nothing much to go back for. Wine was delish! Shrimp were cooked to perfection. Meat under seasoned. Parking was great!

An amazingly designed place , staff were amazing. The owner and the chef mr johny made sure to explain about every dish we ordered. The dishes were mostly wonderful, reasonable prices. The price of alcohol is a bit excessive. The desserts that looked good need improvement - they were not tasty.

We arrived last night because we had a reservation, but unfortunately the place was closed! We tried calling them, but no one answered. What a shame—they confirmed our reservation and even called us to reconfirm it! This was such a horrible experience. We came all the way from Jerusalem, excited to visit Haifa and enjoy a nice dinner, but instead we were left disappointed because of this place.

We had a fantastic experience while sitting at the bar infront of the chef, The restaurant itself is very elegant and beautiful, pleasant staff and quick service. Unique dishes, delicious seafood. I personally would recommend the octopus dish.
