Unforgettable Meat Experience at Pitmaster Jerusalem Pitmaster Jerusalem is hands down one of the most unique and unforgettable dining experiences I've had in the city. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a full-on culinary event for meat lovers. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed into a warm, rustic space that feels more like a private smokehouse than a traditional restaurant. What makes Pitmaster so special is its format: a communal, chef-led feast where the stars of the evening are high-quality cuts of smoked and grilled meat, prepared with incredible skill and passion. The chefs come out to present each cut, explain how it’s prepared, and serve it directly to your table. It’s interactive, personal, and absolutely delicious. The meats—brisket, short ribs, lamb, sausages, and more—are cooked low and slow to perfection. Each bite is rich, juicy, smoky, and full of flavor. You can tell the team here puts real love and craft into the smoking process. The sides and sauces complement the meats perfectly without overshadowing them. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, with long shared tables that encourage conversation. It’s a great place to go with a group of friends or to meet fellow foodies. The staff are friendly, energetic, and clearly love what they do. Reservations are essential—this is a popular spot for good reason. If you're a fan of barbecue, smoked meats, and great vibes, Pitmaster is an absolute must-visit in Jerusalem. Come hungry—you won’t regret it!

This is a must if you are in Jerusalem! The show, the food, the atmosphere is amazing. My only issue was that they had to be asked to refill drinks (we were out of water, beer, and wine) and it took them a while after we asked. Overall, a great time!

My husband and I booked Pitmaster after reading a review from Yeah That’s Kosher’s Dani Klein and it was absolutely amazing! The food was amazing and Pitmaster Shir Naveh was incredible! Me and my table neighbor - who I had just met that night - ended up starting the dancing after the 5th course and it was overall an amazing time. We were so excited to see the Pitmaster was coming to New York where we are from!! We look forward to welcoming them with open arms and already signed up to be notified!!

Food and drink was tasty and good value, although all 7 courses were beef-based (no lamb or chicken). Service was courteous and meal progressed at comfortable pace. However, we were really looking forward to the famous Pitmaster party atmosphere and this never really materialised... There was music, but dancing, communal conversation, and participation in the cooking was extremely limited. Explanations by the pitmaster were quick and brief. Perhaps this was because we went to the first dinner slot on a Thursday night and they were in a rush to turnaround the restaurant for the second sitting? Or maybe the early evening slot is more geared towards families and kids?
