Wonderful food. Pretty much the best fine dining experience in Jerusalem. Very expensive as it is a chef restaurant. Everything is very rich and buttery. The place is reservation only and reservations require a deposit

The food is good, but not great. The service was bad, really bad. It’s a small place with low ceilings and therefore it’s very loud when full. The service was like a neighbourhood eatery. Food comes out of the kitchen when it comes. There is no order and the staff states this is the system. The place is clearly understaffed. What a mess. Some of us finished eating when others were still waiting for food. The staff was overwhelmed and did not clear plates and glasses. They have good intentions but this is far from professional. The Chef maybe a good cook but a lousy manager. While I enjoyed the food, visit was disappointing.

Perfect place. A combination of great service, delicious food, attentive personnel and gastronomic delight is hardly found in Jerusalem. Accidentally got here while walking in the heart of the city and were amazed by the atmosphere. It’s not that the interior is something unique or unbelievable but the people that work at Mona fill the restaurant with kindness and professional care. This place is authentic chef restaurant providing gastronomic masterpieces inventing something new almost every evening. How pleasant it was when we received very tasty dish on the basis of corn as a compliment. We wish that this place would be open also in the mornings and be more accommodated for families with children. Definitely worthy of 5 star 🏅evaluation!!

Great food and hospitality experience in a beautiful old building in the center of Jerusalem. We arrived and were a little disappointed by the limited choices, especially since we were hoping for more seafood than what was available. But then came the shift manager, such a professional lady. Help us and make us feel amazing. She recommend about fantastic dishes and everything was so delicious. The shift manager make all the difference. It’s all about people and hospitality!

A hidden gem … accessed through a charming artists’ courtyard … and an exceptional overall dining experience. We were seated at the bar with full view of the culinary artists at work (we enjoy watching industry and creativity) where we were able to interact with the head chef, sommelier and maestro of a head barman. A well defined menu with every dish beautifully presented, and well portioned accompanied by a very wide range of wines. As we tend to do, we drink local wines when traveling and Mona provides optionality galore with their knowledgeable and engaging wine guide. Highly recommended for any foodie visiting Jerusalem.
