Beautiful restaurant with a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly, the food was reasonably priced with generous portions, and the dishes were very authentic. Service was quick, and overall it was a lovely experience. The desserts, tiramisu and cheesecake, were not perfect, but everything else was great. I’ll definitely visit again!
Thankful my Grandmother doesn't use a computer because this place has the best meatballs I've ever had besides hers... I'll say it. The cacio and pepper meatballs were excellent. Best chicory I've ever had. The lamb was delicious and plentiful. Food was overall EXCELLENT. The outdoor area was a bit cramped but that's a small price to pay. One waiter was as stoic as the statues in Rome while one waitress was friendly and warm. Overall a fine choice and a meal we will all look back on.
I was there today, and Medina was my server. She was absolutely fantastic—attentive, friendly, and genuinely took care of me. She recommended excellent dishes, and I had the pomodoro, which I loved. I will definitely come back here again! Love it!!!!!Highly recommended!
I had lunch on a Friday afternoon. Didn't have to wait long for a table. We were seated inside, downstairs where it was much cooler and greatly appreciated since there was a hear wave during our stay in Rome and temperatures were in the high 30s. Our drinks were cold and our pizza was fresh and hot. The pizza crust was crunchy just how I like it and the pizza sauce was very flavorful. The margarita pizza was amazing, and so was the mozzarella and sausage pizza. I wish I'd found this restaurant sooner in our trip so we could have visited more and tried other dishes.
To be honest, I’m not quite sure what the hype is about. We arrived at 13:30 on a Sunday and were told the wait would be about 35 minutes. You wait across the street from the restaurant in an open area, and you have to stay nearby since they call your name when it’s your turn so you can’t go around wandering off. We were finally seated at 14:30 and didn’t get our food until around 15:00. The prosciutto e melone was the most disappointing I’ve had in Rome, both components were dry, and the melon had no flavor. The artichoke was delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I peels the layer and ate them like chips. The pasta was good, with a pleasantly firm, almost udon-like texture, but not enough to justify the long wait. I’ve had better take out pasta. The tiramisu was very fresh and runny in a good way, absolutely delicious! The staff was clearly short-handed but impressively attentive. They were constantly checking in, adjusting seating if the sun was too harsh, and making sure everyone was taken care of. When it suddenly started raining and my baby (in a high chair) was getting wet, they quickly moved us to a table inside. They were all very attentive and kind. If you want really good food don’t waste your time in the long wait.
