Saltimbocca ristorante

For our last dinner before leaving for our sweet home, we finally tried pizza in Rome. We also order a mixed seafood platter and others. This place didn't disappoint us. Every dish was good. It can get busy during peak meal time so an advanced reservation is recommended.

We ordered gluten-free pasta and some starters, though unfortunately, the restaurant doesn’t offer gluten-free pizza. We tried the lasagna, fettuccine with pesto and shrimp, and the parmigiana — all were delicious and well-prepared. The staff were very knowledgeable about gluten allergies, reassured us about avoiding cross-contamination, and were also extremely friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, a great experience for anyone looking for safe and tasty gluten-free options.

Another gem I found while wandering around. Best gnocchi I've had in years! And the food at nearby tables looked and smelled delicious too. Good value for the money - 2 courses and a cocktail for under €30. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly, attentive (but not overly so) staff. Chatty if you wanted them to be, but left you alone if you wanted quiet relaxation.

I recently visited a traditional Italian restaurant located in the heart of Rome. The interior was very charming, with dark tones and plenty of vintage photographs that created a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. There were quite a few waiters, which made the service both fast and pleasant — the staff was attentive and professional throughout the evening. However, I must admit that the food didn’t quite meet my expectations in terms of flavor. It wasn’t bad, but I was hoping for something a bit more authentic or memorable considering the location. On the other hand, the prices were surprisingly reasonable for a restaurant situated right in the city center. Overall, it’s a nice place for the ambiance and service, but the food could be improved.

The place is amazing... Sit inside it will be a total history and Great atmosphere. Staff is great, food is WOW. Prices are acceptable, not the cheapest, but you want to eat good, this counts. Try Malenzane con Parmigiana or any food from the menu! Seafood is very tasty, pasta is very Italian 😎
