Absolutely worth a visit. I had a lovely evening here as a solo-diner. The food was amazing. I had the Beef Tatare, Tuna Putanesca & the Ricotta Mousse. Especially the Tuna Putanesca is a must-try - so much flavour. And the staff is super friendly & helpful and can give advice on wine selection etc. So if you find yourself in Rome CiPASSO is definitely a place you could and should go.

I was in Rome for 5 days, and CiPASSO was the best restaurant hands down. Adrianna made our experience superb. She went into details when I asked for wine pairing. Not only is she knowledgeable she was very sensible dividing our truffle pasta to two bowls as we only ordered one pasta dish. The carpaccio and scallops were good start to our meal. Thank you for the hospitality and amazing food.

One of the best “as normal as you can call cipasso restaurant”restaurant experiences. Starting with the service, very knowledgeable, very accommodating, from the warmth welcoming to the greetings at the very end-spot on, smooth, delightful. Atmosphere: in a typical old red brick Roman / Rome building with the time patent, a cozy, welcoming, inviting room, with perfect warm lighting. Food: I had the toast with truffles and fish with minty hummus and crispy baked chickpeas paired with the perfect glass of wine. The chef’s perfect assembly/presentation combined with the perfect amount of truffles / so so so many thin good quality black truffles slices, which brought the perfect amount of fresh earthy crunchiness with the distinct truffle subtle taste/flavor that was perfectly combined/intertwined with the different types of melted cheeses that transports you within all the earth elements ( earth/soil, milk/grass, cheese/letting natural elements mature the cheese/ air, organisms/micro elements). Perfect crunchiness from the warmth toast. Take your time to enjoy the food and ambience! The Fish- perfectly cooked, moist, letting the fish meat do the whole work paired with the refreshing minty hummus/perfect for a hot summer night in Rome! Well done chef and the crew. Wonderful experience and looking forward to bringing my family!

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. The pasta was truly outstanding—both the truffle and lobster pasta were among the best we’ve ever had, rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. Every dish was beautifully presented and incredibly well-balanced. Service was warm, attentive, and seamless throughout the meal. It’s easy to see why this restaurant has such a high rating—every detail lived up to it. A memorable meal we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Excellent service, beautifully presented dishes, and worth every cent – but make sure to book in advance. We passed by Cipasso earlier in our trip but it was fully booked, so we made a reservation for another evening – and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we had in Rome. The staff were very kind, warm, and attentive, with a more classical, upper-level style of service. Small details stood out, like providing hooks for handbags at the table, or the way they mingled with us in small talk and food recommendations, always in a pleasant, never pushy way. This is what I’d call a real dining experience. The dishes were beautifully presented and full of rich, layered flavors. You can feel the care in both composition and taste. We tried different plates, some with truffle and some without. I’m usually not a big truffle fan, but after tasting my companion’s dish, I have to admit it really adds something special ; so next time I’ll go for it too. It’s clear why this place has such high ratings. Service and food together made it memorable. Prices are above average compared to a casual trattoria, but still very moderate for the quality you get. Definitely worth spending a little more here. Strongly recommended – but do yourself a favor and book ahead.
