New Food Gluten Free - Ponte Sisto

This bakery is an absolute gem if you are gluten intolerant! We went here for breakfast everyday that we were in Rome. It is the best gluten free pastry that I have ever tried, and it was amazing to just go into a bakery and choose anything! The price was really good to. It was affordable unlike a lot of gluten free places.

Please, whatever you do in Italy, make sure you come here. THIS WAS AMAZING. As a gluten free foodie, New Food was paradise. I came here every day of my trip. The pistachio cream puff is to do die for. Every single thing tastes like Heaven. Even my gluten-eating friend enjoyed. The service was WONDERFUL. The kind woman who runs the place (I’m assuming) and a younger man who worked the front were SO KIND!!! They knew me by the end of the week lol. I wish I could take this back to America with me. I only tried the pistachio and Nutella croissants and they were both really nice and fresh with a slight citrussy/orange peel taste the pastry. The savoury selection of pizzas etc looked really nice so I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Rome. The only downside is there’s no seating and when we went on a Sunday morning the nearest cafe was closed so we couldn’t grab a coffee or something non-gf for my partner.

Went to visit Galleria Corsini and paid a visit here. Felt the warm welcome instantly and the food was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone (even those who eat gluten). Had the apricot gem as shown on the photo and also a chocolate croissant which were all fresh and handmade. Good choice of soft drinks too. Thank you for improving the community of Rome - what a great bakery :)
