We were seated in the vaulted cellar of the restaurant, which had a magnificent atmosphere. The fried cod, lamb and Roman rabbit dishes were delicious, so were the deserts - which comprised tiramisu, cheesecake with pistachio and berries. Siam, our waiter was super friendly and helpful. His service was excellent. 🤩 Definitely can recommend- 5 stars ✨
My server, Sam, was spectacular! He steered me into the and incredible and unique antipasti! The eggplant in cheese sauce was out of this world! His service was very attentive. For the main course I had the pasta prepared in the cheese wheel table side. The pasta and sauce were delicious, though not as warm as I’d like. I think it cooled down in the transition to the table quite a bit.but still a WOMDERFUL EXPERIENCE!
We had a wonderful time at the downstairs seating area of this restaurant. The food was beautiful and the ambience was very striking. Our waiter Tom was delightful and helped us with all our requests this evening.
Don’t let the touristic environment fool you! It’s a wonderful restaurant!! Their pasta dishes are awesome. The ravioli with saffron and truffle was in perfect balance and the white Raghu was absolutely perfect! Highly recommended (Service could be friendlier and more helpful)
What a great opportunity to have dinner at a historical site like this - and given the restaurant size, it’s easy to find a table. The restaurant sits in a little side street where sometimes there’s live music, people dancing and a lot of people and good energy. We got to know this restaurant through the “twilight food tour” and decided to go back for a full dinner and it did not disappoint. Service was on point (thanks to Sam who did a great job hosting us) and food was superb! And extra points for the dessert which was sooo good that I didn’t even take a picture. If you want quieter vibes and cooler temperatures you can try for a table at the historical basement of the restaurant.
