Trattoria Della Stampa

Medium sized restaurant with very friendly and chatty staff, serving delicious pasta dishes. We visited on a weekday evening without a reservation and the host managed to accommodate us, but high recommend booking as the restaurant stayed busy after 9PM. Overall we loved visiting and would return again.

Another popular restaurant in Rome, come early and queue or youll need to wait a long time as it is a very small restaurant. All of the food were pretty good except for the steak which came almost well done. That was disappointing. Also, indicate early to your server that you want all the food served together if not they'll just wait till you finish before serving the next one. However, we did wait a long time for the grilled chicken to be served even though we asked the server a few times if it was ready.

🇮🇹 Ended up here by chance just looking around for the best carbonara pasta, and we found it!! The thickness of the sauce was ON POINT, the guanciale incredible!! We order two glasses of wine and they served 1/4 by mistake but they didn’t charge us more and gave us that extra for free. Quite small place maybe in total 12 tables or so, come with patience because it gets full quickly. They have a charge of 3€ for the service and bread, something usual here in italy, apart from that the service was better than the average. Very recommended for a romantic lunch or dinner and don’t forget to pick the best carbonara pasta and a glass of prosecco!! 🍷🍝

Wow what a cool spot. This restaurant was recommended and was a favorite. This is a small, intimate dining space and a reservation is a must. The service is impecable - they treat you like family, cracking jokes, making recommendations, and really allowing you to enjoy your meal. 10/10

What a wonderful place. It’s very cool, great vibe! The people who work here are fantastic! The food is OUTSTANDING! So delicious. It gets packed quickly so either make a res or wait. It’s worth every minute. Love love love!!!!!!!!!
