Karibu is not simply a cosy restaurant, is a sustainability and social project. Here you can find every -day changing meals at affordable prices. Rooms are coloured and during summer you can eat outside. Is a good starting point for visiting the XIXth century , workers neighborhood of Barriera di Milano.
Plates were both tasty and colorful. Plenty of vegetarian options.
Excellent ethnic restaurant located between Corso Novara and Via Bologna in Turin. The place is easy to reach and there is a good availability of free parking nearby. The quality of the food and the plating are excellent. The quantities are also good. Prices are correct, we were also able to book with a 20% discount with The Fork. The place also has an important social value since it aims to insert migrants present in the area into the world of work. The boys who served us were helpful and friendly. The only flaw: the internal temperature of the place was not very high and it was a bit chilly. With more heating it would have been better. Overall we ate very well and had a great time. Recommended and worth trying!
Don't expect your average restaurant, but a full-fledged social project. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, and the food is good. I recommend the ethnic dishes, which I think the menu should focus on more, rather than the Italian ones. The wine isn't the best. Service is very, very slow, but equally friendly. A bonus for the FREE carafe of water, which you never find anywhere else.
Well done! Great food, family atmosphere. Highly recommended!!! The only thing I would do for a 10 with honors is explain the dishes served as they are all very particular!
