I went back after 6 years and oh boy, it was even better than what I remembered! I was by myself and still decided to go for the 1kg dry age steak and I’m glad I did! I can’t believe I finished the whole thing with 20 min - it was that good! The steak was cooked close to perfection, with very juicy and tender meat and the skin so crispy. If you want to have a good steak/Florentine, definitely go there! Also, all the servers were very friendly and welcoming (including the chef Marco, who was still cooking great steak behind the window after 6 years!)

An Unforgettable Steak Experience at Nero 9, Milan Probably the best steak restaurant I’ve been to in my life so far — and considering all the places I’ve been, that’s saying a lot. Nero 9 truly stands out as a culinary gem. The bone marrow and beef tartare with truffle for starters were absolutely divine — rich, flavorful, and expertly crafted. For the main event, we chose the impressive 1.4kg Nero cuts, perfectly cooked and paired with a phenomenal wine that elevated the entire experience. Every bite was a testament to the quality and mastery behind the restaurant’s offerings. What impressed me most, however, was the service. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making our evening special. They offered thoughtful recommendations suited to every budget, and they never failed to impress — a true mark of their professionalism and dedication. Nero 9 is a standout in Milan’s dining scene, combining exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s a must-visit for steak lovers and anyone seeking a top-tier culinary experience. I can confidently say it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be returning.

We ate here on out trip to Milan on 28th August. The service was incredible, there is an attention to detail that we haven’t found in other places. They take great pride in the meat they offer and take time to explain the origin of this. We couldn’t fault the meal. Everything is kept very simple which just highlights the quality of the food they produce. We loved it and it’s certainly one of the best meals we’ve had during our 10 days in Italy. For the food the price point is reasonable, we have eaten in places much less personal for double the money in the uk. Overall we were very impressed.

They made us feel comfortable and taken care of without being overbearing. The star of the night, of course, was the steak. Cooked to absolute perfection, it was tender, flavorful, and expertly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their meat and how it’s prepared. The sides were just as impressive—simple but done right, complementing the meal beautifully. The atmosphere was warm and upscale without being pretentious, making it a perfect spot for both a special night out or a casual dinner with friends. The service was prompt, and the staff knew the menu well, offering great recommendations. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a proper steak and top-tier service.

It was the second time we have been in this restaurant. The meat quality is impeccable and the atmosphere is very nice. The owner made sure we feel welcomed throughout the whole dinner. Would definitely recommend to visit!
