Brilliant concept, no table charge and water is free - definitely a rare gem in Italy. The pesto bruschetta was phenomenal and the garlic spaghetti with anchovies is good. Special shout out to Davide who is so passionate at his job and takes the extra time to explain the concept and menu to the customers. He’s just brilliant. I’d highly recommend.
Average place, not worth the hype. Expected better flavours considering the high google rating. The pasta with anchovies was not cooked all the way, a bit hard but i guess that’s how they serve all their pastas. The pesto toast was good. The gnocchi with tomato sauce was ok. Presentation was good. However, nothing exceptional about this restaurant.
Via Pasteria serves the best spaghetti I’ve had in Italy — perfectly cooked, full of authentic flavor, and simply unforgettable. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are attentive, and every bite feels like a true Italian experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real pasta!
Wonderful little spot, only had to wait 5 minutes for a bench space but as the rush left we were able to move to a table. Pasta was absolutely delicious & they also cater to gluten free diets (we had 2 coeliacs in our party of 4). We were told of the 20 minute wait for fresh GF pasta which we were completely fine with. Servers were wonderful and attentive! Would definitely recommend!!
Somehow it's become the destination for tourists. Pasta comes in 2 sizes. You gotta pick one. The smaller portion could be enough for a light eater. But the good thing is, you could get to try other small dishes. For those menus indicated spicy, it can't be undone.
