Extremely friendly feel at this restaurant from as soon as we walked in. A staff member will give you a tour and a speech about how all of the ingredients are Italian meaning all of the big name brands are not available, even for drinks. The atmosphere is unique due to the yellow colour of everything in the restaurant but adds to the experience. You can choose any dish with any type of pasta you wish making the menu possibilities borderline endless. The food was amazing with a window into the kitchen allowing you to watch your food being prepared. Would 100% eat here again.
the best pasta place i went to in milan. best restaurant in general, honestly! the staff were super helpful with explaining the menu. you can personalise your meal with different types of pasta and when i asked to, i was given recommendations based on how the chef prepares it. we got the carbonara and an anchovy one. large is very large!
One of my favorite experiences in all of Italy was coming here with my father almost a year ago and getting a chance to see the energy and passion that this staff had in their work. With great pride, enthusiasm and authenticity in their craft, each and every staff member we spoke with showed their optimism for the growth of their idea and cuisine. Even the greyest Milan skies couldn’t compete with the cheerful yellow of Via Pasteria. This storefront glows like a lemon drop in a rain puddle, pulling you in with color therapy and the promise of handmade pasta! Inside, pasta wasn’t just served—it was celebrated. In open fridge drawers stacked like treasure chests, we met pasta in all its forms: linguine, rigatoni, fusilli, paccheri. A proud staff member guided us through the pasta fridge with the same joy a sommelier might show you a cellar. This plate? Handmade Semolina linguini crowned with delicate Mazara del Vallo shrimp tartare and generous black truffle. A dish that whispered luxury but spoke the language of balance. Rich, cold, earthy, briny—all in one twirl of a fork. Wide, bronze-toned pasta shells hugged bits of squid and parsley cream. Rustic and refined, this dish felt like the culinary version of jazz—surprising, smoky, and smooth in the end. Sure, it’s just a salad… until it isn’t. Crisp romaine, creamy dressing, and the unexpected joy of thick pancetta croutons. A refreshing interlude between two pasta acts. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we walked out, we were treated like family and guided through our experience with great fervor and excitement! We tried to taste everything, getting the hearty traditional entrees, something exotic and local. The experience was of great anticipation, flavor explosion and satisfying design. I appreciate the tremendous efforts, quality applications, and great design behind this whole concept. You must go, experience all the flavors and joy of this great space! Thank you all for a wonderful experience!
I visited this branch for the first time, as I usually go to their other location. the area and atmosphere were really pleasant and welcoming. The staff at the counter were very kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. I ordered a pasta, and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit.
This is sweet and beautiful place away from centre but not too far from it. All pasta and sauces are home made and absolutely delicious. My ceasar salad was so good too. Highly recommended for great home made meals
