Amazing spot! We arrived in Venice early and still had our travel bags but Dalia was a very warm host. She was very kind, spoke multiple languages and welcomed us with open arms! We sat outside with the locals enjoying the beautiful weather. We ordered the risotto dish and bruschetta it was so fresh and delicious I would highly recommend this place to everyone in the area. If you can ask for Dalia she will make your experience even better!
Fusion Puppa was an absolute gem—tucked away from the crowds, it felt like we’d stumbled onto one of Venice’s best-kept secrets. The vibe was quiet and romantic, which made it ideal for a relaxed dinner. The food? Next level. The squid ink pasta was rich and bold without being overpowering, and the prawn pasta had this perfect fusion twist—fresh, a little zesty, and totally addictive. It’s not your standard Italian, but that’s what makes it so good. If you're after pasta with a bit of personality and a peaceful spot to enjoy it, this place hits the mark.
HIDDEN GEM This was a lovely restaurant and we went there after checking the reviews. The restaurant lived upto our expectations. The waitress (Daaniya) was very nice and patient. The only time she got impatient was when I asked her name (to leave a good review) just before leaving the restaurant. Overall, Daaniya was one of the nicest waitresses we encountered in Venice. Thank you Daaniya. HELP THE PIGEON If you are dining outside at this restaurant and see a limping pigeon, give that poor thing a few bread crumbs or whatever you are eating. One of the pigeons outside the restaurant limps because it lost two claws on a leg. I first thought that the pigeon was 'acting' to get some food. But when I checked closely, it really lost two claws 😭 When you give food to the pigeon, the other pigeon thieves will try to steal its food. Make sure to drive them away.
Lovely place to stay during the hot summer day in Venezia. I can fully recommend, we had Four types of pasta, everything tasty and delicious. Good prices and kind service, nice atmosphere.
What a nice place. At first I wasn't really convinced by the small menu and the simplicity of the place, and we were about to leave. It would have been a massive mistake - the food is top-notch, tasty and not pretentious. Best Carbonara I have had in my life (and I am italian!), Sarde in Saor absolutely delicious. The server was the real MVP - managing all tables alone, always with a smile and great manners. Seriously, mark this place on the map
