Bakarò

I had a wonderful solo dinner at Bakaró - Osteria & Co. in Venice and would absolutely recommend it! I found the restaurant on OpenTable and made a reservation just for peace of mind—while it didn’t seem totally necessary, it was nice to have that extra reassurance while traveling. I was seated at one of their charming outdoor tables in the square, which made the experience feel extra special. The setting was lively yet peaceful, perfect for enjoying a relaxed evening and some people-watching. The menu had a great mix of Venetian classics and modern touches. Everything I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was warm, welcoming, and made me feel completely comfortable dining solo. If you’re visiting Venice and looking for a scenic, delicious, and solo-friendly spot—with the ease of booking on OpenTable—this is a fantastic choice. I’d happily return on my next trip!

Very quick service and done with smiles and charm. Loved it. Food was decent. Carbonara was nice. Ive had better and for cheaper also. Its a great venue with great service. Loved the loos. The statue of david really was a highlight. When I reopen the door I turned to see it was infact a ladies loo. Made sense as it was much nicer smelling amd the lipstick on the statue was a bit of a give away. Anyway loos are nice.

Great meal on a charming square. Best carbonara I have ever had. Service was efficient and kind. Our server Andrea was awesome. Bianca Veronese was delicious and a great price. Complimentary limoncello really sealed the deal. Will be back next time I am in Venice.

Wonderful meal at Bakarò. Servers were attentive but not intrusive. The patio seating area is charming. It was the perfect restaurant for our first night in Italy. The food was incredible! We started with the mussels. They were so tender and the tomato zuppa was absolutely fantastic. We asked for a basket of bread to soak up every last bit of it. My husband had the Spaghetti alla chitarra with mussels, prawns and squid. I know he enjoyed it because he barely spoke while he savored every bite. I had the Venetian liver. I love liver and I can honestly say this was the best liver I've ever eaten. It was fork tender and absolutely delicious. The entire experience at Bakarò was flawless.

Okay folks, I read the reviews about this being the best carbonara that people had ever had, and was curious. 10/10 it is the best carbonara I’ve ever had. The noodles are al dente, the sauce is fantastic, the bacon is perfect. My sister had the ravioli and loved it as well. In the corner of a lovely square, great atmosphere
