Good place for authentic venetian food. A little bit touristy spot but wasn't too bad. Good menu and friendly staff. We tried the liver which was delicious. Lasanga was so and so. The starter pistachio pasta was very tasty.
My wife and I were looking for a seafood risotto. While we were browsing the menu outside the restaurant, a friendly staff member asked us what we were for. We told her we were looking for a seafood risotto, but they didn't serve it. She told us that, if we both ordered it, she would make it special for us for a very reasonable price. She was as good as her word, and it was DELICIOUS! A creamy risotto with a hearty mix of shellfish that added just the right amount of brine to the cream sauce to keep it from being too rich. A fantastic tiramisu for dessert with cappuccino served at just the right temperature for a warm September evening. Attentive staff that never made us feel rushed. Overall, a great experience!
visited this restaurant back in October 2024 and was absolutely blown away by the food — it was incredible! I ended up eating two full portions by myself because everything was so delicious. This time, I was excited to bring my family here to share the experience, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The squid ink pasta and seafood soup tasted completely different from last time — it seems like there may have been a change in the chef. You can see the comparison in the photos: images 4 and 5 are from my previous visit, while images 1, 2, and 3 are from this visit. The seafood flavor was overpowered by canned tomato, and the squid ink pasta lacked sauce and was quite dry. I really hope the restaurant can return to the standard and taste it once had. It was truly memorable before — I’d love to experience that again.
The food was fantastic. We ordered a variety of dishes and were all good but our favorite was the squid ink spaghetti. Prices were reasonable and not a tourist trap including no pressure to tip.
Service was very attentive, without pushing you along. Everything we had was great, but the cuddle fish ink pasta was a surprise hit. I went into it thinking that it was ink pasta. However, it was really pasta with ink sauce... And bites of cuddle fish. If you even consider it...get it. You will be happy you did.
