Low & slow Bologna

We ordered the holy trinity and the meat was very soft and flavourful with a light smoky flavour. We had potatoes on the side that complimented the dish as well. The sauces provided on the side was great, would recommend if you get bored of pizza and pasta in Italy.

This was a fantastic meal. The Holy trinity, a grilled chicken salad and bread satisfied the two of us. Perfect portions, we couldn’t eat another bite but I didn’t leave the table feeling like we over ate. The brisket was so tender I could cut it with my wooden fork. All the meats were perfectly seasoned and smoked, even the bread had a nice smoky flavor to it. The pulled pork and ribs were really tasty and had a drizzle of zesty sauce, not soaked in it, so it complemented the meat without overwhelming it. The salad had really crispy bacon, yummy grilled chicken and warm blistered tomatoes, soooo good! I’ve sampled Bbq across the USA and this beats most of them. I was very pleased with the food, service & price.

I was really looking forward to this place after finding it on maps and seeing the reviews. Got the beef ribs and the brisket. The brisket was really small portions like 4 slices of beef and very dry, not like the photos shown. The ribs were salty, all I can taste was the salt. I see they don’t make it fresh daily like in the states, they make them ahead of time and shrink wrap them , then heat it up when you order it.

The BBQ wings are fantastic, the best I have had. The burgers are very tasty. Low & Slow is my favorite BBQ joint in Italy.

We found this place to be the best carnivore food in Bologna, smoked and so delicious and well priced. So good we came back on our fourth night in Bologna to get real food! Great service as well. 😋😋😋
