Would highly recommend this very traditional bologna restaurant! All of the food we ordered was delicious! The ravioli was some of the best I’ve had - it was packed with flavor! The dessert sampler, while good, was a bit disappointing as our ice cream was melted. The waiter was super helpful on recommending wine to go with our meal as well. Reservations definitely recommended! You have to call to make a reservation.If you are visiting Bologna this restaurant is a must!

Delicious pasta but on the salty side. If you’re looking to try authentic bolognese, this is one of the best places! They do not skimp on the beef sauce. The gnocchi in beef broth was also very flavorful and the soup as well was very tasty. Would recommend the truffle ravioli too they gave so much truffle. The service was on the interesting side… the waiter was a bit rude and neglecting not sure if he was trying to be funny? Didn’t come off very polite.

Outstanding food, friendly welcoming and great atmosphere. Many options of first and second courses, traditional Bolognese dishes and on average prices for above average restaurants. In the heart of the historical center, book before going as its usually quite busy. Many waiters speak English and are absolutely available to answer questions and give you suggestions. A MUST stop in Bologna! Don’t make the mistake of not making a reservation. We watched dozens of people turned away during our meal. The place is popular - for a reason! What a fantastic meal this was. Beginning with the eggplant parmigiana and the porcini flan. We were sure what to expect with the flan but, wow, it was something else! An umami bomb. Then, we shared the tagliatelle bolognese and the tortelloni with white truffle. Both were excellent and completely different from one another. The service was above the rest. The people were lovely and personable. I can’t wait to return here. Make the trip to Bologna just to come here!

A great place for family and friends to eat together. Wonderful welcome and service. Some of the best food we had in Bologna.. Which is saying something considering the quality of most places is good to start with. Amazing wine selection. Book ahead or go later, it's busy for a good reason.
