Very disappointing. If you go, only eat the Pasta dishes those were actually good and they also had a few good wines. Everything else while looking good lacked flavour. We had to add plenty of salt and pepper to all other dishes as they did not taste like anything. Especially bad were the main dishes. The beef tongue for 22€ consisted of a few leaves of dry undressed salad leaves and barely any unseasoned beef tongue and a few green and brown dollops of something that tasted like nothing. The duck was also severely under seasoned however what was really interesting was the texture. I do not know what they did but as soon as you bit into it, it turned into a mushy play dough consistency and I have never had that with duck before. The skin of the duck was also rubbery and not crispy at all which did not help the texture problem. For three courses (starter, pasta and main) and wine we paid 180 € (see bill attached) which was way too much for the quality received. Additionally once we were home and had a look at the receipt we saw that they charged us double for the zucchini flowers - we only had one portion but were charged two. The service was good in the beginning until we ordered. Afterwards we were left alone and had to go inside to ask for salt and pepper or even ask for water. It could be more attentive. We would not recommend or go again.

We had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a delicious meal!

Our last night in Bologna we got a recommendation to dine here. Such a relaxing vibe. We were warmly greeted by our server Ana. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and had the most infectious personality. She offer her favorite items on the menu and THEY DIDN’T DISAPPOINT! We had the Carbonara tortellini and the seared duck breast. Both fantastic! Ana really went above and beyond to make our last night very special. The best meal I’ve had in all of Italy. The food was amazing, but the hospitality was extraordinary - we felt like family. Jacquline (and everyone) was so warm and welcoming and so knowledgeable about food, wine, and culture. She recommended a few local vineyards to visit during our stay, which was a wonderful experience as well. It was the highlight of our trip - I will be recommending to all our friends, and I look forward to returning myself!

If you’re looking for a trattoria style place this is definitely the one! The atmosphere was perfect from the first step into the vicinity, the dining room was decorated with traditional wooden cabinets and walls adorned with vintage posters, it felt like having lunch at grandma’s. Apart from that, the food was also very good, super comforting and rich & flavourful at the same time. I’d highly recommend visiting, can’t wait to be back! (I’d suggest booking in advanced because there are only 7 tables, as per the name)
