Make a reservation if you'd like to eat here! We didn't have a reservation, saw the ladies making homemade pasta in the window, tables full and line along the side of the building so decided to hop in and try it out. It had a good vibe and was fun to c the pasta making. Probably waited 20 min in line and staff brought out champagne at 1 point for all the people in line, which I thought was really nice. Once seated (we were outside), service was as expected. Ravioli r big. Fettuccini ragu was good, but not much meat. Meatballs were probably best part of the meal. Although homemade pasta is fun, it's a bit denser and chewier. Service charge is 2euro/pp. Price for meals was reasonable. Although we enjoyed r experience here, ate at La Sberla across the alley the next afternoon and enjoyed the food there a lot more.
A traditional place for pasta in Bologna, located on a small side street near the main square. As soon as you walk in, you can see two ladies preparing fresh pasta by hand. 😍 Everything was delicious! The food was prepared extremely quickly; the staff was very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again.
This place is for tourists. Most likely you will wait in a long queue, looking how ladies are making pasta and be amazed by that, thinking - wow, that's real Italian pasta emerging from their magical hands. Then, you will be seated, get your long awaited plate full of Italian experience. And that's it. Quantity of food is very generous. For quality go somewhere else, it's average, at most. And very expensive. Bologna is packed with really good places, unfortunately it's not one of them.
Awesome Osteria where you could feel the authentic pasta experience. Just when you walk in you can see a lady making hand made pasta, from tagliatelle to tortellini. We ordered ragu and carbonara, both dishes were delicious and very well balanced, the carbonara was soft, creamy and with a smooth sauce, while the ragu was creamy and with the perfect meat sauce. We couldn’t leave without tasting the Tiramisu, which we can safely say it was one of the beat we tried. The perfect balance of coffee, cocoa, mascarpone and biscotti. It is definitely worth visiting. Service was very nice and helpful with our choices.
Highly recommend. This place is an institution in Bologna and you can see why. The past was amazing, the deserts brilliant too. We were served by Nino (15/08/2025) and he was professional, friendly, welcoming and gave a great service. There was a queue when we arrived but it moved very quickly. They're very efficient with their service.
