We came here for dinner - the restaurant was recommended by our hotel receptionist. We sat outside, but the interior also looked very beautiful - lots of books on the walls. I had the polpettini (meatballs) alla Bolognese, a glass of wine, and a panacotta for dessert. The tagliatelle alla Bolognese were also good!
I had eaten here in 2023 with the advice of a friend. I was delighted and impressed. If there is one thing I've learned from my travels it's that you must make a reservation for a good restaurant on a holiday like Easter. I made my reservation online from home before I left. They greeted me and showed me right to my table. Two glasses of A local Cabernet Sauvignon, first course was Balazoni ( large tortellini filled with meat and cheese) covered in a cream sauce and chopped pistachios, second course was a meat stuffed zucchini (Zucchine Ripiene alla Bolognese) and Panna Cotta for dessert. I skipped lunch just so I could have this wonderful meal! I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were attentive and helpful.
Local friends took us to this great restaurant downtown Bologna, with a look of a library or bookstore. Service was wonderful, the menu exciting and every dish ordered absolutely fresh and delicious. The local traditional dish, lasagna, was delicate and exquisite. Their tortina dessert with mascarpone cream was heavenly. Highly recommended.
The place is full of charm. A library with great vibes. The staff was fast and helpful. The tagliatelle al ragu were delicious. The tiramisu was a pleasant surprise with pieces of dark chocolate inside. The manager was a gentlement. Great experience.
Stopped here for a quick drink and ended up having some light lunch as the food looked so good. We had some mixed salad, cheese and bread with honey & fig jam followed by Chocolate Cake with Marscapone and a Crème Caramel. All washed down with some nice red wine. Definitely worth a visit especially outside.
