Porcontento Breakfast & Brunch

We had a beautiful breakfast on the back terrace. The owner David and his team accommodated a large group of 18 of us, without notice and at the last minute, after a family event nearby. The food was delicious - we tried everything on the breakfast menu, and there were a number of special requests that were accommodated without issue. The staff were so warm and attentive and the hospitality second to none. We’re so incredibly appreciative. Would highly recommend.

Our first morning in Firenze was a lazy one so we decided on a late (very late) breakfast. Porcontento is a short 5 minute walk from the apartment we're staying at. It may become our breakfast place while we're here. The patio is charming and very well shaded. It's June and warmer than usual for this time of year so the wisteria provides a welcome respite. David was attentive and the food was quick. The orange juice is, of course, fresh.

Great Brunch Spot! Saved us from the rain. They have WIFI too! I got the Omelet Set with a warm tea. Nice cozy vibe indoors. It’s much more spacious inside, than how it looks from outside. Feels casual, but also has attentive staffs.

We visited this place twice while in Florence as we were staying close by. We tried the pancakes and the scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage. Both were great but I highly recommend the pancakes as they were delicious. The freshly squeezed orange juice was also excellent. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient.

This place is great. We came here for our first day of breakfast in Firenze and the service combined with the food was awesome. The servers were very kind and suggested us their scrambled eggs. In the end we were talking with the gentlemen behind the bar about our travels, and even gave us a complimentary home made cookie to share. All in all great, and we will be back here!
