My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience! The food was delicious — the pizza was well done, and the minestrone soup was fantastic and full of flavour. What truly made our visit special was the service. The staff were very friendly and incredibly thoughtful throughout. A special shoutout to Jenni, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommend this place!

The food was so delicious, highly recommend the spinach ricotta ravioli. It has a perfectly balanced butter and sage sauce. The tiramisu was exceptional. Aldo was so pleasant and took great care of us, he was the highlight of our experience. I had to amend the review since the food was so good we came back for dinner and had the beef florentine. The steak was melting in our mouth, truly truly delicious!!!!

Such good food, and very kind ownership and staff. The owner went out of his way to find me a sweet wine and let me try it before giving me a glass. The food was so good - I loved the ravioli. Everything was good! We liked this place so much, we came the next night for dinner, again. Would highly recommend.

Visited Locanda di Medici, a very classic Italian restaurant in the heart of Florence, just a few blocks from the iconic Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. As our very first dish in Florence this time, we went all in with pasta. We had Tortelli di Patate e Pecorino al Tartufo Fresco, tortelli filled with potato and pecorino cheese topped with fresh truffle. It was wonderful, the truffle flavor really came through. We also ordered Pizza Bianca 5 Formaggi, with mozzarella, salsiccia, pecorino, grana parmesan, and burrata. Incredibly rich, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. The staff were also very friendly and spoke English, which made things easier. Price to value is on the higher side, but overall it was a great experience and a memorable first meal in Florence.

This is hands down the BEST restaurant I’ve ever been to, with the best food I’ve ever had! Our waiter, Aldo, made us feel completely at home with his warm hospitality. He took the time to get to know us and made the dining experience even more special. We ended up coming back every night during our stay in Florence. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, and this will be the first place we visit when we return. The interior of the restaurant is stunning—it’s more than just a meal: it’s an experience.
