Il Vezzo

Fantastic hidden gem. The chef gave us fun tasting bites to start. The best steak we have ever eaten. They like to experiment with flavors and we really liked the cucumber appetizer and beef ragu.

Truly a quality restaurant with an elite menu and a high end chef / kitchen!! Some of the most unique and exciting culinary masterpieces we have enjoyed - not just in Italy but throughout our travels and in Miami!! Everyone was friendly, pleasant and willing to share their knowledge and experiences! Make Il Vezzo a mandatory stop during your time in Florence!

Our first meal during this trip. Very busy place. We got there late were able to get in before closing. Was decent food, but not super delicious. Did not care for the ham appetizer plate. Rest of food were better.

Our favorite place to eat in Florence, went 2 nights in a row! We had the tagliatella scampo which was replacing something on the menu, and it might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Sharing pictures of everything we’ve had there.
