My wife and I dined at Il Cavallo Scosso last night, trying the five-course "Cavallo Scosso" set menu with wine pairing. Although we were the only guests, which we thought would allow for extra attention, we were left quite disappointed. The courses were bland, lacking taste and seasoning—none stood out or sparked any excitement. I even had to send back a dish of mussels, as they didn’t feel fresh and the cod felt defrost. The replacement pasta was simple but satisfying, as it was the only dish that truly had flavor. The wine pairing was also underwhelming, with average wines that didn’t seem tailored to the dishes. For the price, the experience was extremely disappointing. I wish the restaurant well and hope they improve, but as it stands, I can’t recommend it.

We found this restaurant purely by reviews. In my personal opinion, it was one of the best meals I had while we were overseas. The server was attentive and the food was amazing. I would plan another trip to make sure this restaurant was included. If you like an underrated and unique dining experience, then this is the place for you.

Really loved this place. Very modest, but in the same time experimental kitchen, for people who like to go on a food journey. Good wines, they have the audacity to use parts of the fifth quarter (sweetbreads, tongue) and the pina colada dessert was an absolute joy! Recommend this for a new view on the pure and innovative Italian kitchen. 💚

Everything we tried was sooooo delicious! Molto delizioso! You could tell it was prepared with a lot of passion and care. So much detail. It was like eating delicious piece of art! Definitely worth a visit!

Unusual restaurant located at the whereabouts of Asti offering a non ordinary menu (70€ /42€). We went “alla carte” and it did not disappoint: battuta di fassona with ricci di mare was delicious and so the pork cheek. Good wine and dessert menu. The only downside I d say is the ambient, with a lack of style, too much light, not the kind of decor I would expect for this level of cuisine & service
