Absolutely incredible in every way! We turned up without a booking (rookie mistake) and we were fortunate enough to get their 1 free table! Book in advance so as not to be disappointed. To start we had the sambusa and tamia veg with hummus and berbere - simply delicious. For main we shared the enjera meat combo and it was just incredible. Then, to help with digestion a herbal tea which tasted like Christmas in a cup! This family run business is an absolute must in Bergamo! If we could give more than 5* then we absolutely would - exceptional.

Wow so glad I found Dahlak but disappointed I didn't find it until my last night. We ate from the stall they had at the international food festival and myself and my partner (non vegan) food was fantastic and so tasty. They had 3 vegan options on the stall and an appetiser. Thank you Dahlak! Didn't take any pictures as we were enjoying the food too much! Super friendly and helpful staff too ⭐️

Delicious and authentic Eritrean food! We had a meat sambusa , followed by injera with a mix of meat and veggie stews — flavorful and perfectly spiced. The staff were kind and welcoming. Great experience overall. Highly recommend!

Great, cosy familly restaurant. Friendly people, very good tasty food and fantastic atmosphere. All was perfect. This place will be at our hearts for a long time. We will back for sure.
