Va Mo Là

The tortellini in brodo (broth) was very tasty along with the tortellini di Zucca (pumpkin). I added bacon bits to mine to add more of a sweet and salty flavor and it was delicious. The employees were all very friendly. We really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere

We were looking for a not too touristy place and think we found an amazing spot - lots of locals here on a saturday night. People drinking & talking everywhere - all seats full and still we were taken great care of. Food was plenty & great, drinks tasted great, service was amazing. The manager of the restaurant was great too - always present and looking for things to improve (he even managed the reservation list when we arrived). This place really won our heart!

Very nice restaurant in the centre of Bologna. Outside in front of the restsurant is a nice terrace where you can have dinner. Inside are several big rooms with plenty tables. They have a good though not extensive menu and a good menu for drinks. The atmosphere is excellent and the waiters are very friendly. The chicken was delicious.

We loved Va Mo Là so much that we went there two nights in a row and didn't even want to try anywhere else! The atmosphere is a highlight. The entire interior is so cozy and lovely that you immediately feel welcome and could spend hours there. It's a very social place, and we even became friends with people at a neighboring table. The staff is also incredible—they are incredibly helpful and very attentive. On a very busy Saturday, we arrived 30 minutes before our reservation, and they still made sure to find us a great table. And the food... it's out of this world! The lasagne, both the classic bolognese and the vegetarian one, were simply the best we have ever had. My husband was so impressed with the Balanzone Ricotta Mortadella that he ordered it twice! The wine they recommended was also perfect and paired beautifully with our meal. Va Mo Là is a must-visit in Bologna. The amazing food, cozy atmosphere, and fantastic service made it the best dining experience of our trip. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We came here for dinner - the restaurant was recommended by our hotel receptionist. We sat outside, but the interior also looked very beautiful - lots of books on the walls. I had the polpettini (meatballs) alla Bolognese, a glass of wine, and a panacotta for dessert. The tagliatelle alla Bolognese were also good!
