We had a rib eye and the cacio e Pepe , side salad and grilled veggies. Very good food and portions. Service was friendly and they even have an English menu. It’s great since this restaurant is outside the city center.
Great steakhouse on the outskirts of rhe city center if. Bologna in a quiet residential street. They have amazong cuts of meat and the owner is very nice
Found on Google maps and walked a bit out of our way because of the ratings .we were not disappointed! Restaurant is lovely, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Service is impeccable and the food was delicious! As was the beer...a neighbourhood gem!
Tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, Ristorante Mamima is absolutely worth the extra walk. We started with the Selezione di salumi emiliani, followed by a tomato and eggplant pasta that was vibrant, perfectly balanced, and the best Paccheri I’ve had in Bologna. The T-bone steak was impressively large, with a deeper aged aroma than what we experienced even in Florence, and the Milanese ossobuco was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Portions were generous, ideal for sharing, and the Barolo paired beautifully with every dish. The owner was exceptionally warm and attentive. While some staff were less experienced, service overall was timely. A truly exceptional dining experience — highly recommended!
Authentic, well priced restaurant which is well worth the visit. Slightly outside the city centre but would highly recommend. The pasta is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend for anyone after traditional food from Bologna!!
