Luna Restaurant

We had a great dinner on the patio. The food was excellent and the young man serving us was new, but very friendly, he is going to be great! Very nice evening.

As for the atmosphere of the restaurant, it is excellent and the service is also wonderful. All the employees were very kind, but I have a comment on two dishes of food. Regarding the grilled shrimp and fried crab, they smelled of the sea and did not have any distinctive taste in them. This comment can be taken into account and work on improving the taste components to be better. Thank you.

Food is delicious, as always. Unfortunately the staff was very hectic and unfriendly. We got taken out plates away, even tho there was still food on the plate and we were still eating. This shouldn’t happen.

Highly recommended. One of the best restaurants I visited in Italy. We stayed at the hotel and this is the restaurant in the hotel. We didn't expect the food and the atmosphere would be so good. We sat at the high table and it was fine. The soup, bread and olive oil was the highlight, and not forgetting the white wine. Will be back again.

Luna Restaurant is part of the Mondschein Hotel in Bolzano, Italy. Acquired through war, Alto Adige was formerly part of Austria-Hungary but is now controlled by Italy. As a result, I generally find that the better food in this northern region is Alpine/Austrian based food— not what you’d think of as typical Italian. Luna is a clear exception to that rule. Intricate flavors, delicate pasta prepared with all the passion and knowledge of any master restaurant in the south of Italy. All of this tucked away within a stunning interior with a stained glass ceiling. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Also enjoyed meeting the chef. I highly recommend this restaurant as a standout favorite within Bolzano.
