We stumbled upon this adorable restaurant and this was fabulous thank you so much. What a grateful experience on our few days in this adorable city.
A Truly Disappointing Experience at Imbufalita I regret to say that our experience at Imbufalita was nothing short of a disaster. From the very start to the bitter end, the meal was riddled with issues that left us utterly disappointed and certain we won’t be returning. The starter was uninspired—missy, bland, and entirely lacking in flavour. It felt hastily thrown together with no attention to quality or taste. Moving on to the pasta, it was woefully undercooked, with a hard core in the centre that made it nearly inedible. And the vongole? Full of sand and reeking of an overpowering fishy smell—it was honestly one of the worst seafood dishes I’ve encountered. For dessert, we hoped for redemption but were met with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that was watery and full of ice crystals, a clear indication of poor storage and lack of care. As if this wasn’t bad enough, the coffee tasted like cheap instant coffee, a shocking disappointment for an establishment that should know better. The water offered was only machine-filtered, with no bottled or sparkling options available—a small but telling sign of the restaurant’s lack of effort to provide quality service. Speaking of service, it was painfully premature and inattentive, adding to the overall frustration. Finally, both the food and wine were exorbitantly overpriced for the quality (or lack thereof) that was presented. The value for money was utterly appalling, making this one of the most regrettable dining experiences we’ve had in recent memory. Imbufalita might have charm in its name, but unfortunately, that’s where the appeal ends. Save your time, money, and palate by dining elsewhere. It’s safe to say we won’t be returning.
I got the lunch menu and was great. Caccio e pepe was cooked perfectly. The chicken was a bit more crunchy for my liking but it was good. Great restaurant with friendly staff overall
This restaurant is fantastic! What can I say but the food was incredible, the service was exceptional and internal decor is simple but well done. We liked the place so much that we went two of the three days we were in Brescia. Well worth a visit when in Brescia and I highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy it!
Food was so so… the noodles portions were small. Fried seafood was a little too salty for me. Small portions of desserts, not worth the price. But very good price for house wines. I think my stomach problem came after was probably from this restaurant.
