Izoa ristorante

The food and atmosphere are top level. Very nice restaurant. Even if pasta con vongole was a bit complicated to my taste. I prefer a simple sea flavor. But it’s matter of taste for sure. Octopus was perfectly made. We were lucky to have a young lady at service and she was very friendly and helpful. But then her boss has arrived and made us feel so uncomfortable(( We were with the kid and it was not simple to choose something for him from the menu. We couldn’t take bottle of wine as we were by car and there was no information about wine by glasses list. The description we got - we have local white and red. We had to ask about grape and style. It seemed all our questions were so annoying for the lady. And she clearly expressed it by her short replies and tone of voice. Even considering all pluses I wouldn’t come back. There are places where you feel much more welcome.

Fantastic restaurant. Had a marvellous lunch with the most beautiful view in Camogli. And the food was up to the view. My tagliolino alle vongole e shrimp tartare + bottarga was very tasty. The seafood was very fresh. I personally like the pasta cook a bit more al dente but it was definitely not overcooked. Then had the sgombro (mackerel) which was grilled to perfection and with a delicate red cabbage salad and two sauces mustard and pomegranate. It was executed very well. The staff were also kind and made another table available as the sun was a bit too much.

We were looking for a restaurant with a view, we were not disappointed. The service was great, they offered us a selection of foccaccia. The food is more sophisticated than regular trattorias, if you want to discover new flavours instead of regular Italian dishes that’s the place to go. I found it a bit pricey, but the view is worth it!

I had my birthday dinner there. Everything was perfect from wine to the last bite of a desert. Friendly staff, excellent quality of every detail olive oil, bread, coffee. Beautiful views from the outside garden. Can honestly recommend this place.

We love Izoa!! They have the best staff and the food is amazing!! They have a great selection of orange and natural wines!! ♥️♥️
