Unique & fabulous dining. So much to look at and enjoy beautiful food. Recommended
We had a fantastic meal at Cucù. The tagliatelle with white ragù was nothing short of magnificent—perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, savory sauce that was both delicate and full of depth. The burrata appetizer was also outstanding: creamy, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. This place is a true gem—authentic, flavorful, and memorable. Highly recommended!
To be honest, the food was OK but absolutely nothing special, especially keeping in mind the high price. We had the fish of the day, vegetable tartare (full of onions) and torta dria (a great pie).
Friendly staff, good suggestions on the local wine, as the one selected was no longer available. Fried mixed fish was special, as there were entire crevettes to peal and large fish. A lot dow around and lack of taste. The cozze with tomato were tender, but also not so much taste as in other restaurants.
Ate here on my last day in Camogli after spending 10 days in the city. Been passing by the restaurant several times and it was always packed, so my expectations were high. Looking at the menu, that was mostly dishes containing seafood, with relatively expensive prices (between 12-30 euros), I also thought that the food experience would match the price and expectations and be something out of the ordinary. To my surprise, and the 4 others eating with me, all dishes was an utter disappointment. We were served unripe tomatoes with buratta and anjovies, with a presentation much more comparable with a low level restaurant. The rest of the dishes were not any better. A pasta that when presented sounded amazing, tasting nothing but fish, in a bad way. I could keep on going but it was all the same. Sorry Cucu, but we did not have a good experience. I would like to add credit to the staff, whom were all really friendly, presenting the food very well and giving the restaurant a real good vibe.
