Amazing pasta & lasagne, well done to the kitchen! Otherwise the service staff was incredibly absent and unhelpful. They offered little in the way of detail for the menu & ingredients. They said they couldn’t offer us tap water when their bathroom sink was broken on the on position, wasting water the entire night. Plus after making a reservation for 4 and asking for a particular table. We were said it was only available for a group of 6, it was given away to a walk-in table of 4 guests.
We came here with my wife for dinner while visiting Como. We took a table on the terrace. It was a slightly chilly October evening, but they had glass walls, heaters, and blankets, so we felt very comfortable. We had the tuna tartare with stracciatella cheese and pistachios — it was interesting and absolutely delicious. For the main course, we had pasta; both dishes were very well cooked and flavorful. The service was amazing — even the owner or manager was walking among the tables, making sure everything was alright. Prices were a bit high (especially for the wine), but it was absolutely worth it! I would definitely come back.
The cocktail was nice, but the food was really disappointing. Carbonara is a simple and classic Italian dish, yet it tasted awful and was overly salty. The black squid ink spaghetti was also extremely salty. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he didn’t seem to understand what “salty” meant. I spent €68 on this meal, which was definitely not worth the money. It didn’t impress me at all.
We discovered this lovely restaurant on our last evening in Como and wished we had found it earlier. We had the prawn starter and mains were risotto with veal and tagliatelle in tomato sauce with burrata cheese. Seriously, the best food we had in the 5 days we were in the region. Service was also impeccable, they were busy but still attentive.
Oh, it was so delicious! Handmade pasta made out evening it’s just we just arrived at Como Lake just arrived to Italy and went straight to this place and no regrets. It is definitely worth making a reservation, waiting and coming to this place. Service was a little bit slow, even when there’re not many people waiting, but the service itself means nothing comparing to the taste of the food!
