A special place with a passionate owner, tasty food, and a great selection of wines.
Absolutely fantastic food and a waiter who really knows what he’s talking about. We got an excellent wine recommendation that wasn’t on the menu, and it turned out to be one of the best we’ve tasted here in Italy. We had both beef tartare and tuna tartare, plus duck and eggplant lasagna. Everything was absolutely delicious. A perfect evening!
Charming intimate little place with really excellent food and a friendly proprietor who spoke good English. We didn't book but managed to get a table for 4 (inside) shortly before 8 on a Saturday, but if we'd left it any later we probably would have been out of luck - booking ahead probably advisable. Prices quite reasonable considering the high quality of the dishes.
Absolutely charming little place with indoor and outdoor seating and a really lovely owner. We had delicious and unique takes on beef tartare and tuna tartare for starters. Mediterranean fish, and lasagne for main were also delicious. The owner was really helpful in recommending delightful local wines and even told us about the history of the building and showed us the old well.
Very nice restaurant! I loved prawns with black rice. The codfish was not so much to my taste but alright. The eggplant vegetable side dish tasted like home (Russian eggplant-tomato spreads). Loved the wine and the mango -coconut dessert. The creme-brulee was a little off (the caramel too bitter and the central part of the cream too cold which affected the taste for me) but they were very attentive and removed it from the check even without me asking, that was extremely nice how they care about the food and guests' tastes. Thanks, guys!
