Wonderful food and impeccable service. The food is truly such high quality and culinary expertise. The waiter was so patient with my broken Italian and we were very eager to try truly authentic and local dishes—such a great introduction to true Italian food and local cuisine.

Superb. We’ve been staying in Padua for a month, sxperienced travelers. Trattorio Encanto is on a small side street in Ferrara, about 300 meters from the sightseeing. Has a bona fide chef focused on seafood. My partner had a calamari and mushroom dish that was a revelation. I had black pasta with garlic and chili oils, clams and calamari, another ingredient or two. We agreed they were the two single best dishes we’ve been served in Italy, which is saying something, believe me. The service was warm and gracious, the cost modest, the experience wonderful.

We had a perfect lunch experience at Trattoria Encanto. Great service and excellent food. All the 5 star reviews here do not exaggerate. I hope that I will have a chance to come back.

Cosa posso dire? A hidden gem! We found this restaurant through google maps, it was open for lunch and we were the only two guests here. We were surprised but thought to give it a try and were not disappointed. The waitress was not able to speak much English but that was no problem at all, it gave the authentic touch! We received a little greeting from the kitchen, a fried zucchini appetizer, we decided to go for ‚tortellini in brodo‘ and the paccheri, which was an excellent choice. As a main we shared the „sgombro“ which came with grilled veggies, really plenty of food and a good composition.
